How does this quote represents my learner identity?
I consider this quote represents my learner identity because I am a person with a vision very clear and I believe everything is possible with hard work. I also believe that for our society to grow stronger and be more comprehensive towards others we need to understand the point of view of everyone. For us to make a positive change in the world we need to take decisions that may not be the beneficial to us individually but those that are best for everyone as a whole.
For some reason I could not see your quote but your reflection show the value you place on others as a means and end for your learning . How does understanding and valuing others' points of view make you a better learner? This is very much related to the Marymount definition of global competence. Read the quote and think about the following: do you see yourself as well in the other attributes that we have projected for global competence at Marymount?
