Growth Mindset-Marymount

How can we foster a growth mindset at Marymount?  We can foster a Growth mindset at Marymount first by continuing having a healthy learning environment where students flourish academically, behaviorally and socially. Also, in my opinion i’ts crucial for teachers to be on top of the learning process of their students to make shure they are understanding. This way students will not think that are not capable of doing so.

How can we foster a growth mindset at Marymount?

How can we foster a growth mindset at Marymount? We can foster a growth mindset if we do more interactive classes, in which students are able to express more there opinion or doubts about a theme on school. The Marymount way is actually fostering a growth mindset, but we can always make it better, by applying more worksheets in which as a whole class is interacting about the worksheet, not individually,

Growth Mindset at Marymount - Camila Olmos

How can we foster a growth mindset at Marymount? We can foster a growth mindset if we continue using the Marymount way and keep on encouraging values and different ways of learning. Another way is by giving extra help to those who don't understand a subject so well, so they don't get stuck on the idea that they aren't good at certain things.

Learner Identity Quote

Quote: Marymount aims at fostering self-directed learning, which we define as both the process and impact on  the learners of developing the metacognitive capacity to autonomously recognize the strengths and opportunities for growth when gaining the understanding, attitutes, competencies, and values needed to be the agents of their lifelong learning process. My learner identity  can be  identified  with the previously quote, because I considered that  Through the years i`ve manage the skill of " Self Learning". When im interested in a topic that is unknown of me, I always have the willingness and the mental capacity of self taught.

LEARNER IDENTITY QUOTE

LEARNER IDENTITY QUOTE- Alejandra Nassar This quote represents my learner identity because I’m a girl who always keep promises and make them true, I’m someone who always turn in assignments at time. I’m responsible for learning and discovering new things everyday. I’m responsible with my learning so I can transcend it to the community. Being responsible make me a more organized person. I always like to take care of something or someone when it’s my responsibility to others. Learning can also mean to grow as a person. That's why I am responsible of taking care of those who love me because that part of my growth as a person. I am responsible for learning new ways to make others happy.

Learner Identity

Learner Identity “Is the way I connect to God, to myself, and to everything that surrounds me, finding the true meaning of my life.” This quote represents my learner identity because the learner identity is what identifies me as in my learning and when you connect to your true self you can whatever you want. When I connect with everyone and everything that is important in life nothing is impossible, I can do many achievements as a student and as a learner.

The quote I chose is: What we learn with pleasure we remember. This quote made me identify with my learner identity because I usually remember more and better things if we learn them in a good and fun way. It also shows that to learn you don't always have to sit, listen to a teacher, and write down stuff in your notebook.

How does this quote represents my learner identity? I consider this quote represents my learner identity because I am a person with a vision very clear and I believe everything is possible with hard work. I also believe that for our society to grow stronger and be more comprehensive towards others we need to understand the point of view of everyone. For us to make a positive change in the world w e need to take decisions that may not be the beneficial to us individually but those that are best for everyone as a whole.

I think this quote is the best one for me because it tells us that we should be capable of having an autonomous way of learning based on our own experience.  All of us see ourselves as  learners ,  seeking  and  engaging in   life experiences  with a  learning  attitude and  believing  in our  ability  to  learn .  It has been  proven  that if a  person  does  not  believe they can  learn , they will  not   learn .   Jose Manuel Sabella J.
